Gary J. Lange
Gary J. Lange, 55, of Franklin, passed away Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Jan. 8, 1957, in Columbus, to Hubert and Alverta (McCoy) Lange. He married Leota L. “Lee” (Hancock) Lange on Aug. 15, 1992, at Community Congregational Church in Franklin. She survives.
He had worked for Arvin in Columbus and Franklin Plastic Products. He was a former member of White Creek Lutheran Church in Columbus. He was a member of the Humane Society of Johnson County and was active in the Civil War reenactments.
Survivors include his wife, Leota L. “Lee” (Hancock) Lange of Franklin; his beloved kid dogs Brownie and Joey; brother, David Lange of Scipio; sister, Kathy Adams of Shelbyville, Ky.; mother in-law, Marjorie B. Hancock of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The Revs. John Kolb and Dan McLaughlin will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at at Swartz Family Community Mortuary And Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin. Friends may from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Johnson County, 3827 N. Graham Road, Franklin, IN 46131.
