Barbara L. Fortner Gryctko, 83, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012.
She was born on Dec. 31, 1928, in Indianapolis, to the late Lawrence and Mildred (Smith) Kays.
Barbara is survived by her children, Tim (Tarie) Fortner, Jill (Richard) Robinson and Kent (Laura) Fortner; five grandchildren, Craig Fortner, Hope Fortner Remetta, Lauren Robinson Torkamani, Sam Robinson and James Fortner; and two great-grandchildren, Riley Remetta and Kelsey Fortner.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husbands, Canby Fortner and Joe Gryctko; great-grandchild, Carter Remetta; and sister, Sue.
Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135 at Olive Branch Road. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Barbara will be laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 734 North Morgantown Road, Greenwood.
