Jack P. Andrews, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012.
He was born Oct. 9, 1927, in Indianapolis, a son of the late Roy H. and Tesse Andrews.
Jack was a lifetime member of University Heights United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after more than 38 years of dedication.
Jack is survived by a daughter, Robyn Andrews; a son, Jon (Kim) Andrews; and three grandchildren, Madelyn, Nicholas and Lily.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alda B. Andrews.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at University Heights United Methodist Church, 4002 Otterbein Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at G.H. Herrmann Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis, and from 9 a.m. until service Saturday at the church. Jack will be laid to rest in New Palestine Cemetery.
