Kelly Diane Eaton and Aaron Joseph Schenk, both of Evansville, were married at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 12, 2013, at St. Philips Catholic Church, Mount Vernon. Deacon Mark McDonald officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Doug and Betty Eaton, Seymour. The groom is the son of Dave and Linda Schenk, Mount Vernon.
The bride wore an ivory lace strapless dress with sweetheart neckline, chapel length train with diamond trimmed waist. Her veil was a lacy with diamond accents. She carried a bouquet of orchids, lilies, rose and carnations in fall colors and carried a handkerchief that belonged to her maternal grandmother.
Maid of honors were Holly Eaton, bride’s sister, and Andrea Schenk, groom’s sister. Bridesmaids were Alissa Schenk, groom’s sister, and Abby Eddy. Junior bridesmaid were Madelyn Elfreich and Macey Adler.
The attendants wore strapless knee-length dresses, each one in different fall colors of cranberry, orange, plum, green, yellow and brown.
Best man was Adam Schenk, groom’s brother. Groomsmen were Nick Unfried, Shane Render and Nick Moll. Junior groomsmen were Keller Bishop and Connor Bishop, bride’s cousins.
Ushers were Landon Rickelman, Lukus Rickelman, Nick Sammet and Eric Sammet, groom’s cousins.
Flower girls were Emma Elfreich and Merritt Adler, groom’s cousins. Ring bearer was Nolan Rising, groom’s cousin.
Vocalist was Kathy Herrmann. Pianist was Rachel Maurer, groom’s cousin. Programs were handled by Courtney Bishop, bride’s cousin. Guest registrar was Jennifer Southern, groom’s cousin. Readers were Ashley Greenberg, Bittney Schelich, bride’s cousins, and Marie Stewart, groom’s cousin.
A reception followed at St. Philips Conservation Club, Evansville. Disc jockey was Jeremy Coomes.
After a trip to Jamaica, the couple is residing in Evansville.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Seymour High and a graduate of IUPUC with a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing. She is a member of Brownstown United Methodist Church. She is employed with First Financial Bank in Evansville.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Mater Dei High School in Evansville and 2005 graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in computer network engineering. He is a member of St. Philips Catholic Church, Mount Vernon. He is employed with PCI Skanska in Evansville as a project manager.
