Raymond and Joyce Mackey Tormoehlen will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 5 to 8 p.m. July 12 at St. John’s Lutheran School (Sauers). Their children and grandchildren will serve as hosts of the celebration.
The couple ask that gifts be omitted.
The couple were married July 11, 1964, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour by the late Rev. Victor A. Mack.
They have three children, Stan (Carrie) Tormoehlen, Mark (Cindie) Tormoehlen and Staci (Greg) Rogers, all of Seymour; and nine grandchildren, Caleb, Cassidy, Jacob, Kara, Kyle and Clayton Tormoehlen, and Whitney Rogers, and Madisen and Brayden Polly.
The couple owned and operated Tormoehlen Dairy Farm for more than 30 years. He is retired from Goecker Building Supply. She is retired from Schneck Medical Center, where she served as a greeter. Both are members of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sauers.
The couple enjoy attending their grandchildren’s sports and school activities, flower and vegetable gardening and restoring antique John Deere tractors.
