Kenneth Don “Butch” and Mona Louise Eble Plumer of Seymour plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner with siblings, children and grandchildren. The family will attend an Indianapolis Symphony concert later this summer.

The Plumers were married June 21, 1964, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, which has since merged with Peace Lutheran Church, Seymour.

He is the son of the late Lafe and Lucille Plumer. She is the daughter of the late Sylvan and Ada Pearl Eble.

The couple have three children, Troy (Caroline) Plumer, Louisville, Kentucky, Kendra (Joe) Hoffert, Marion, and Patricia (Dennis) Bowers, Seymour; and four grandchildren, Sophia, William and Annabelle Hoffert and Lafe Bowers.

She is a homemaker, does volunteer work and enjoys reading and antiquing.

He is a farmer, follows college basketball and does woodworking and collects antique farm equipment.

Both are members of Peace Lutheran Church, Seymour.
