Leslie and Clara Jackman of Jones Street will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house to be hosted by their son and Mrs. Jackman’s sisters from 2 to 4 p.m. April 13 at Two Worlds Club House.
They request no gifts please.
Mr. Jackman and the former Clara Hook were married April 13, 1964, in Brownstown, by the Rev. E. Lacy Satterfield.
Mr. Jackman retired from Arvin/Meritor in Franklin, where he was a journeyman maintenance man, and also retired from Stadler Packing Co.
Mrs. Jackman retired from Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp., where she was a teacher’s assistant in the C4 Department, and also is a retired caregiver with Help at Home.
The couple have one son, Leslie Jackman Jr. of Columbus, and one granddaughter.
