Gerald “Gus” Keck and Barbara Keck of Seymour will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles club in Seymour.
All friends and family are invited. The couple’s children are serving as hosts.
Mr. Keck and the former Barbara Bergdoll were married Jan. 9, 1954, by the Rev. Victor Mack in Seymour.
Their children are Gary, Janice (Tim) and Brenda, all of Seymour, and William (Jerrie) of North Vernon. The couple have nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
He retired from Cummins Engine Co. after 32½ years and is a member of the American Legion, the Eagles, the Moose and Veterans of Foreign Wars Men’s Auxiliary.
She is a homemaker and a member of the auxiliaries of the American Legion, Eagles, Moose and VFW
