Richard and Wilma Crowley of Brown County plan to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house planned from 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 7 at First Baptist Church. First Baptist Youth Fellowship groups from the 1960s will host the occasion.
The Rev. Crowley and the former Wilma Kehrt were married Sept. 5, 1953, at the U.S. Naval Chapel in Washington, D.C., by Navy Chaplain Cdr. Richard Cleaves.
The Rev. Crowley is a retired minister and partner in Crowley Farms, Nashville.
Mrs. Crowley is a retired church secretary, organist and pianist.
The couple have a son, Jonathan Crowley of Nashville.
