James and Joyce Meier of Hartsville plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception and dinner hosted by their children and grandchildren.
Mr. Meier and the former Joyce Titus were married June 30, 1962, at Hope Moravian Church by the Rev. Earl R. Shay.
Mr. Meier retired in 2006 from Cummins Distribution and Cummins Inc.
Mrs. Meier retired from Creative Hair Design.
The couple have three children, Jenny Wallace of Hope, Todd Meier of Middlebury and Patty Harney of Fishers. They also have seven grandchildren.
