You should know: Set clocks back an hour Sunday

Follow Daily Journal:

Prepare to get an extra hour of sleep on Saturday night.

It’s the end of daylight saving time, and at 2 a.m. Sunday, you can reset all of your clocks for 1 a.m. Or you can be more sensible about it and either reset your clocks before you go to bed or after you get up.

Public safety officials say this is also a good time to put a new battery in the smoke alarm.

Daylight saving time returns the second Sunday in March.
