A professional photographer already has all the pictures of football players he needs, and he’s leaving the city before the game.
Tim Mantoani takes photos for video game maker EA Sports to use in advertising. The maker of the popular Madden Football game arranges to shoot the photos during Super Bowl week because more NFL players are concentrated in one place than at any other time of the year, he said.
He took most of the pictures Thursday at the Madden NFL Contest, where The Roots, Nas and Snoop Dog played before a crowd of 1,000 people in a temporary event space next to the Bud Light Hotel.
