The blue-and-white handmade scarves and “Have a super day” attitude are stationed in Greenwood this weekend.
Two Super Bowl Host Committee volunteers will be at the Greenwood Municipal Airport in shifts throughout the weekend to welcome visitors as they fly in. The city airport is expecting at least 35 planes this weekend from across the country and Canada with people planning to go to the Super Bowl.
Manager Ralph Hill accepted the committee’s offer for two volunteers to be stationed at the airport to welcome people and answer their questions. Hill also has lined up other volunteers to help around the airport.
