Unwanted advances leads to man’s arrest

A Greenwood man was arrested after police said he repeatedly tried to kiss and touch a 14-year old girl.

Preston Culhane, 20, of 1262 Blue Haven Way, Greenwood, was arrested on a charge of sexual misconduct with a minor.

Greenwood police were contacted by the Department of Child Services in January about incidents believed to have happened between Culhane and the teen between Sept. 1 and Jan. 8. An investigation by the department showed that Culhane had tried to kiss and touch the teen, who repeatedly told him to stop, a Greenwood Police Department report said.
