Two new charities help homeless, unemployed

Follow Daily Journal:

The Franklin community agency Christian Help Inc. has just opened two new charities aimed at serving the homeless and job seekers.

The programs offer supplies free of charge to those who need them.

The Dress to Impress Shop offers workplace-appropriate clothing in a variety of sizes and styles for both men and women. The shop also has shoes and accessories.

The Household Goods Shop offers items homeless people could use if they live in a car, tent or other shelter. Some household goods are available to those clients who need small kitchen or living items to begin a home of their own.

Both shops are open 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Christian Help Inc., 227 E. Jefferson St., Franklin.

For more information, call Christian Help at 346-9957.
