Two Whiteland graduates receive FFA degree

Two Whiteland FFA members received their American FFA degree.

Hannah Goeb and Paul Gentry received the degree in October.

The award goes to FFA members who have earned and invested $7,500 in an agricultural program, own or have a professional position in an existing agricultural enterprise and complete 50 hours of community service.

The awards were given at the National FFA Convention at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Both students are graduates of Whiteland Community High School.

Gentry is a sophomore at Purdue University, majoring in animal production. Goeb is a junior at Purdue double-majoring in animal biosciences and agriculture education.
