A Trafalgar man has been charged with child molesting after police said he touched a girl twice.
Mark Cochran, 43, has been charged with one count of child molesting.
In December, the girl told her mother that Cochran had touched her on two occasions in Trafalgar, according to the police report.
The girl told police that in November 2011 Cochran had been drinking and touched her inappropriately. She told officers that Cochran touched her again in summer 2012, the report said.
Cochran was interviewed by police in January and said he had not touched the girl. In a second interview in February he told police he had been drinking and touched the girl for less than 10 seconds before leaving, the report said.
Cochran, 21 Lakewood Drive, was taken to the Johnson County jail, where he was being held on $50,000 bond.
