INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts on Monday announced they had agreed to terms with former New England Patriots receiver Deion Branch.
The 5-foot-9, 195-pound receiver has 518 receptions for 6,644 yards and 39 touchdowns in regular-season games, and 64 catches for 948 yards and four touchdowns in postseason contests.
Branch won two Super Bowls, both with the Patriots, and was the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XXXIX after the 2004 season, when the Patriots beat the Philadelphia
The Colts also elevated wide receiver Josh Lenz from the practice squad to the active roster, and released defensive tackle Christian Tupou from the practice squad. Defensive end Fili Moala and cornerback Greg Toler were placed on injured reserve.
