Area residents are invited to tour a Johnson County farm Saturday to learn more about the local agriculture industry.
The Dougherty family will host guests from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at their farm, 5895 E. Clark School Road (County Road 700N) in Clark Township.
Tours of the farm will be available. Visitors can learn about beef production, grain equipment, agronomy and chemical application procedures. Coffee, milk and doughnuts will be available, as well as kids’ activities.
The event is hosted in conjunction with the Purdue Extension Johnson County office, Friends of Johnson County Agriculture and the Johnson County Community Foundation.
