As spring quickly approaches, so will the potential of severe weather.
The National Weather Service will conduct a statewide test of tornado sirens during two time periods March 20: from 10 to 10:15 a.m. and from 7:30 to 7:45 p.m.
Tests will not happen if severe weather is in the area that day. Sirens would instead be tested at the same times March 21.
The tests are part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week in the state.
