Student who made bomb threat suspended

Police and school officials have found the student who made a bomb threat at Center Grove High School this week.

The student, who is a minor and whose name wasn’t released, was taken Wednesday to the Johnson County Juvenile Detention Center in Franklin. The student has been suspended, pending a recommendation for expulsion, spokeswoman Stacy Conrad said in a news release.

The bomb threat was discovered by another student Tuesday. The Center Grove Community Schools Police Department and Johnson County Sheriff’s Office searched the building, which was partially locked down, but found nothing.
