Volunteers working to build the walls that will form a house received support from the NFL while they worked.

About 30 Johnson County volunteers carried, cut and nailed together 32 wooden wall panels that will be used in a Habitat for Humanity house in spring of 2013.

The volunteers, who worked at Carter Lumber in Franklin, were part of Super Build 46. The event was coordinated by the Johnson, Hendricks and Marion County Habitat affiliates on Friday.

NFL players attended the counties’ events to show support, including Colts player and Greenwood Community High School graduate A.J. Edds. He spent about an hour at Carter Lumber talking to, taking pictures with and signing blocks of wood for volunteers.
