This summer children with autism can attend a summer camp designed for them.
The Johnson County Autism Support Group’s day camp, Camp Can Do, will be offered in two sessions this summer.
Camp Can Do offers a four-week day camp for kids ages 10-18, which is divided into two sessions. Session 1 will be June 16-27, and Session 2 will be July 7-18 Camper days are filled with activities from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at Whiteland Community High School’s Ninth-Grade Center.
The fee for the Comets group (ages 10-14) is $250 per session, and the fee for the Asteroid group (ages 15-18) is $300 per session. Campers attending both sessions receive a $100 discount. Deadline for registrations is June 1.
