Spelling contest set for home-schooled students

Home-schooled students who want to sharpen their spelling skills can compete in a spelling bee.

The county’s home-school spelling bee will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the White River library, 1664 Library Blvd., Greenwood.

Johnson County students in Grades 3, 4 and 5 are eligible to participate.

The winner of that bee will earn the right to participate in the Johnson County Spelling Bee, which will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. April 22 at Creekside Elementary School in Franklin.
