A Shelby County man was arrested after he hit a utility vehicle and mailbox in eastern Johnson County.
Glen David Rush, 61, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.
Rush was driving in the 6300 block of East County Road 350N at 3:30 p.m. Sunday when he hit a utility task vehicle, which has a similar appearance to an ATV, as its driver was attempting to cross the road, according to a report by the Department of Natural Resources. Rush then hit a brick mailbox.
No injuries were reported in the accident, the report said.
A breath test showed Rush had a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent, which is the legal limit to be considered intoxicated, according to the report.
Rush, 6870 W. County Road 100S, was released from the Johnson County jail on $1,000 bond.
