Johnson County Senior Services has a chance to win a new Toyota vehicle.
The senior services organization is one of 250 finalists in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program, which will award vehicles to 100 nonprofit organizations based on votes from the public.
Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program will showcase five nonprofit organizations each day for 50 days at www.100carsforgood.com.
Visitors to the page will receive two votes each day to select two organizations they feel are most deserving of new vehicles. Johnson County Senior Services will be one of the five organizations highlighted for voting on Oct. 21.
Local residents are encouraged to support Johnson County Senior Service in the quest for a new Toyota Sienna Mobility wheelchair-accessible van.
If Johnson County Senior Services receives the most votes and is awarded the vehicle, it will provide free door-to-door transportation to seniors throughout the county and be used to deliver food and durable medical equipment.
