A Greenwood woman woke up to find two men had broken into her home and stolen electronics.
The woman, who lives in the 2500 block of Ashton Lane near Smith Valley and Averitt roads, called police about 11:50 p.m. Wednesday when she woke up and saw two men coming down the stairs in her home. She yelled at the men, and they ran out of the house and got into a large white pickup truck, according to a police report.
The men stole an electronic keyboard, a laptop, two iPads and prescription medication, the report said.
The woman told police that, on June 30, three people who said they were selling Kirby vacuums visited the home. Two other men rang her doorbell later, and each asked if she wanted to take a survey.
She told police she was sure it was those two men who broke into the house, the report said.
A neighbor told police he saw a large white pickup driving around the neighborhood around midnight on two nights in June, the report said.
