Multiple county roads will be closed for short periods this month as workers rebuild railroad crossings and install new rails and ties.
Six projects are scheduled, five of which will close the roads to traffic. During one project, travel will be restricted to one lane. Indiana Rail Road Co. is upgrading rail lines throughout the county.
The closures should last two or three days at a time, and only local residents will be allowed access to their properties when roads are shut.
