Police are looking for a man who robbed a Southport pharmacy earlier this month.

The robbery happened Jan. 12 at the Walgreens at 6745 E. Southport Road. A man entered the pharmacy through the front door and passed the pharmacist a note demanding drugs and implying he had a gun. The man then left the store in a two-door black Pontiac driven by another man, the release said.

The man was about 5-foot-4 with a stocky build, weighed about 150 pounds and had a beard and a mustache, the release said.

A $1,000 reward is being offered, a Crime Stoppers news release said.

Anyone with any information can call the Central Indiana Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-222-8477 or 262-8477. Tips may also be submitted anonymously online at CrimeTips.org.
