Police are looking for a man who held an employee at gunpoint while robbing a Franklin business.
The man pointed a handgun at an employee of payday lender Check into Cash in a shopping center off U.S. 31 near a grocery store and restaurants during rush hour Monday. He took money from the business at 1924 Northwood Plaza, but no one was injured, according to police.
Police said the man came into the business around 5:30 p.m. wearing a mask. The man was described as being about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds, according to a news release from the Franklin Police Department.
Franklin police are investigating the case and are not releasing how much money was stolen.
