Police are investigating graffiti in and around a Franklin park.
On Wednesday, a Franklin police officer found phrases such as “Too many cops too little justice,” “suicide screams,” “you don’t need it” and an image of a spiderweb with a camera in it, painted on a bridge at Province Park. The park also had graffiti written on a shelter building, according to a police report.
The same day, the officer reported finding pink and silver graffiti on Monroe Street and on railroad tracks nearby. Much of the writing was profanity, but it also included a spiderweb with a camera, a smiley face and the words “Baby Mommam,” the report said.
The police department is investigating, the report said.
