A man was arrested after police said he drove through several Center Grove area yards.
Roger McCollom, 24, 1579 Sanner Drive, Greenwood, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence, dealing marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
A resident in Calvert Farms, which is south of Olive Branch Road, between Mullinix and Morgantown roads, called police to report a crash about 4:30 a.m. Saturday. When police arrived they found McCollom lying on the ground next to his car.
A motorist had driven through a fence at 1751 Calvert Farms Drive, hit the house and vehicle at 1761 Calvert Farms Drive and stopped in the yard of 1771 Calvert Farms Drive, a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office report said.
A breath test showed McCollom had a blood-alcohol content of 0.157 percent, nearly two times the legal limit to be considered intoxicated while driving. Police also found what they believed to be marijuana and two glass pipes in the car, the report said.
McCollom was taken to the Johnson County jail where he was being held on $3,000 bond.
