Follow Daily Journal:

This weekend, a local elementary school student will use her talent to raise money for Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health.

From 3 to 10 p.m. Friday, Teddy’s Burger Joint, 2222 W. Southport Road, Indianapolis, will play host to a party for Abigail Johnson’s fundraising CD. Johnson is a fourth-grader at Sugar Grove Elementary School.

“Smile & Believe Volume 2: A Riley Christmas CD” will be available for a $10 donation to the children’s hospital. The restaurant also will donate a portion of the evening’s proceeds to Riley. Local musical artists including Johnson and South Six 5 will perform.

All proceeds from the sale of the CD will be donated to the hospital. The CD is dedicated to Franklin Township student Maddy Justice, who is battling acute myeloid leukemia.

The album also is available at www.wepay.com, JL Johnson Fine Jewelers in Greenwood and on iTunes.
