The Greenwood Park Board has scheduled a special meeting Monday to consider approving the final plans for the city’s aquatic center.
If approved by the park board, the $10 million project would go to the city redevelopment commission. That board has to approve hiring a contractor to build it.
The aquatic center plans include a pool, lazy river and water slides and would be located in Freedom Park.
The special meeting is at 5 p.m. Monday at the community center, 100 Surina Way.
