Pair facing felony charges after police buy pills

Follow Daily Journal:

Two people have been charged with drug dealing after police said they sold prescription drugs.

Phillip Steven Tracy, 25, and Stephanie Marie Mallette, 21, both of Indianapolis, were arrested Sunday. Tracy is charged with dealing a Schedule I, II or III controlled substance. Mallette was charged with aiding, inducing or causing an offense.

Last year, undercover officers bought prescription drugs, including hydrocodone and oxycodone, from Tracy on two occasions, according to a police report. During both incidents, Mallette, who was Tracy’s girlfriend, drove him to the deals in Greenwood.

Tracy and Mallette, both of 5936 Lakeview Drive, were taken to the Johnson County jail, where each was being held on $40,000 bond.
