Miles Plumlee has heard the same criticism throughout his career.
He can’t score, isn’t flashy and is, at best, a role player. Which is pretty much what he was at Duke.
Now that he’s with the Indiana Pacers, he’s determined to prove his critics wrong.
“I’ve dealt with that a lot in my career. I’m extremely confident I can be a part of something here and contribute,” said Plumlee, the Pacers’ first-round pick in Thursday night’s NBA Draft. “I feel good about being here.”
