No one was hurt after a truck hit the side of an Edinburgh school bus filled with children.

The accident happened on Monday afternoon. Twenty-nine students and a driver were on the bus, but no one was injured, Indiana State Police Sgt. Ray Poole said.

The crash happened at a two-way stop at county roads 700E and 650S. Bus driver Sherri Smith stopped and was crossing the intersection when the bus was hit by a truck, Edinburgh assistant transportation director Carol Swanson said.

The truck did not have a stop sign at the intersection, Swanson said. The truck was driven by Ryan Blaker, according to state police.
