Rhode Island National Guardsman Shawn Fortin is training at Camp Atterbury, only about an hour away from where his beloved New England Patriots will play Sunday.

But Fortin can’t go to Indianapolis to enjoy any of the Super Bowl festivities because of a jam-packed training schedule while he prepares to head to Afghanistan in less than a month.
