State Sen. Rodric Bray, R-Martinsville, was recently selected as an emerging leader by GOPAC.
His district includes part of Johnson County.
Members of GOPAC’s Legislative Leaders Advisory Board, including State Sen. Brandt Hershman, R-Buck Creek, nominated lawmakers from various states who champion conservative policies that create jobs and increase government efficiency, according to a statement.
GOPAC assists program participants in leadership training, policy seminars and interactive discussions at its annual Emerging Leaders Summit, to be held later this year.
Bray, who earned his law degree from Valparaiso University, is a practicing attorney. He serves on the Home Bank board of directors and volunteers with the local YMCA. He lives in Martinsville with his wife, Kelly, and their two sons.
