A man who robbed a Greenwood bank was sentenced to 14 years in prison.
Justin Earl Ray, 30, Lynn, was sentenced this week after pleading guilty to a charge of armed robbery. He could have faced up to 20 years in prison.
On Jan. 28, police said Ray went into BMO Harris Bank, 1696 Meridian Oaks Drive, and pointed a handgun at a teller. The teller gave Ray all the money in her drawer, including a dye pack that later exploded.
Police received a tip about the robbery the next day and arrested Ray at a home in Indianapolis. Officers found dye-stained money and clothing in the home.
He will receive credit for 136 days served in jail.
