Police are searching for the man who they say robbed a Greenwood bank at gunpoint Monday afternoon.

A man wearing a black sweatshirt came into BMO Harris Bank, at 1696 Meridian Oaks Drive off of State Road 135, just after 4 p.m.

He pushed a customer aside, pointed a gun at a bank employee and demanded money, Greenwood Police Assistant Chief Matthew Fillenwarth said.

The employee gave the man money, and he ran from the bank and headed north, Fillenwarth said.

No one was injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call Greenwood police on the anonymous tip line at 865-0300.
