To the editor:

Hi! Bob McGee here — and I’m not asking for money! But I am asking you to vote in this May’s primary election. Most Johnson County races are pretty well set, but who wins the race for the new superior court judge will affect us all for years to come.

That is why I am endorsing Judge Marla Clark.

Thank God we live in America where we have the freedom to vote for the candidate of our choice. Having worked with Judge Clark for years on the Johnson County Community Corrections Advisory Board, I’ve been impressed with her no-nonsense approach to the issues, her superior ability to analyze data and pick out detail in evaluation of problems and situations, and to formulate a working solution while understanding the immediate and future ramifications of the course of action. All this while maintaining a sense of humor.

Judge Clark has been on the bench for nine years.

She is a lifelong resident of Johnson County.

She was Center Grove valedictorian in 1989.

She graduated from Indiana University School of Law in 1995 magna cum laude.

She is committed to improving our community.

She is an award-winning legal author and scholar.

So please — while you may not particularly care about primary elections or, for that matter, my opinions, please exercise your right to vote.

Judge Marla Clark is by far and away, leaps and bounds, the most qualified candidate for superior court judge. Thank you for your vote.

Bob McGee
