Indiana State Police offering summer camps

Follow Daily Journal:

Students who want a closer look at law enforcement can enroll in a summer camp offered by the Indiana State Police.

The summer youth camps are for students entering Grades 5 to 12.

The camps include demonstrations of tactical team, explosive ordinance disposal, scuba, crime scene technician and other specialties.

Troopers volunteer to demonstrate a variety of topics. The camps are staffed by law enforcement professionals.

Universities across the state host the camps. To find a camp to attend, call the Indiana Troopers Youth Services at 1-800-671-9851 or visit trooper.org.
