Hoops game dedicated to teammate with cancer

The sixth-grade girls Custer Baker Intermediate School basketball team has dedicated its final home game of the season today to teammate Chelsea Clark.

Clark is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia.

Proceeds from the game will benefit the Clark family.

The game against South Grove Intermediate School begins at 5 p.m., and activities will occur before and during the game to help raise money.

Those unable to attend today’s event, but who would like to make a tax deductible contribution may send checks to: Chelsea Strong Benefit Fund, 7435 W. U.S. 52, New Palestine, IN 46163.
