Home-school spelling bee set for end of March

Home-schooled students who want to sharpen their spelling skills can compete in a spelling bee.

The county’s home school spelling bee will be 10 a.m. March 22 at the White River Branch of the Johnson County Public Library, 1664 Library Blvd., Greenwood.

Johnson County students in Grades 3, 4 and 5 are eligible to participate.

The winner of that bee will earn the right to participate in the Johnson County Spelling Bee, which will be conducted at 6 :30 p.m. April 22 at Creekside Elementary School in Franklin.
