A Fairland woman was arrested Tuesday after police said she bit an emergency worker.
Latasha Billman, 22, was arrested on charges of battery, resisting a police officer, disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance and operating while intoxicated.
Police found Billman’s vehicle parked at a Greenwood business about 2 p.m. Tuesday after getting a call about a possible intoxicated driver on Emerson Avenue, according to a Greenwood Police Department report.
Billman failed multiple field sobriety tests, and a test showed her blood-alcohol content was .11 percent. The officer said Billman tried to shove him while they were in the parking lot. Billman also bit an emergency worker, the report said.
Billman, 320 Creekside Park, was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail, where she is being held on $12,000 bond.
