A Greenwood man was arrested after his wife told police he slammed her head into a wall during a fight.
Nicholas Prather, 41, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery.
Prather’s wife called police about 11:20 a.m. Wednesday after a fight between the couple. The woman told police the two had gotten into an oral argument and Prather threw a flower wreath and picture frame at her head, a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office report said.
When she tried to leave the room, Prather grabbed her by the back of the head and slammed her head into a wall twice. She told deputies her head hurt, and showed them a large red bump on her forehead. She was checked by medics and taken to Community Hospital South in Indianapolis for treatment, the report said.
Prather, 493 Jackson Place, was taken to the Johnson County jail and held on $1,000 bond.
