Residents can look at maps, ask questions and see the plans Monday for an area Greenwood wants to annex.
The city wants to annex 1,800 acres surrounding a proposed Interstate 65 interchange at Worthsville Road so it can oversee how the area is developed. Much of the property is farmland.
Greenwood, by state law, can make the land part of the city.
The public meeting on the annexation is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at the Greenwood city building, 2 N. Madison Ave.
