Bailey Johnson is a 10-year 4-H member and a recent graduate of Franklin Community High School and will study biology at Indiana University this fall.
Reporter Magen Kritsch recently asked her the following questions:
Why did you join 4-H?
Friends and family has always been in 4-H. I don’t know what I will do without 4-H next year.
What has been your favorite 4-H project?
Horse and pony showing. Horses have been something I have been passionate about.
What fair food are you most looking forward to eating?
Sirloin tips. That is something I always get multiple times fair week. They aren’t as good outside the fair.
Why did you choose to study biology?
I was a science person while I was in school. I want to be an anesthesiologist. I figured (studying biology) was a good start.
What are you most looking forward to about college?
Meeting new people. It will be interesting to meet people from all over the country.
How many pairs of shoes do you own?
Less than 10. My main ones are a pair of boots and a pair of sandals.

What is the last movie you saw in a theater?
What is your favorite part of summer?
Spending time in the barn. Most people see it as a chore; it is something I enjoy.
What is your favorite aisle in the grocery store?
The candy aisle. I love candy and sweets.
What is the worst movie you have seen in a theater?
The “Twilight” movies. I am one of the people that reads the books first and have an idea of what the movie should play out. (The movies) weren’t similar in my opinion.
