When the members of Pioneer were practicing in a Center Grove-area garage, they envisioned stepping on stage in front of thousands of screaming fans.
The members saw themselves recording albums with renowned producers in some of the world’s best studios. They wanted their songs to hit the top of the charts.
More than five years later, Pioneer has achieved those dreams. The Johnson County-based band played before thousands of fans at the Vans Warped Tour and headlined a national tour this winter.
For two weeks in June and July, their hit single “Dreams” topped the Billboard Christian rock charts. Despite achieving much of the musical goals they had aspired to, the band members are focused on improving and reaching new audiences during a West Coast tour this fall.
